They all celebrated the achievements of women in the CT industry. T-ROC was a sponsor and the reception took place in Las Vegas during CES 2020 on January 7th at the Venetian hotel.

Women in Consumer Technology is an organization that promotes the advancement of women in the consumer technology industry. Its annual Legacy Awards honor remarkable women who are changing the landscape of the consumer technology industry through their leadership in the retail, distribution, sales, marketing, merchandising, integration, publishing, and trade association segments.

“We’re beginning our second decade of honoring the women in our industry who are not only role models but also innovators,” said Carol Campbell, founder of Women in Consumer Technology. “Every year our pool of nominations grows larger, and it becomes harder to select the final recipients because each one of them embodies the spirit of what the Legacy Awards represents.

The reception’s largest honor, the Carol Campbell Inspiration Award, was given to Megan Pollock of Samsung Electronics America. “What we see tonight is really the power of what so many of us have said for so long—the importance of having role models that look like you, that support you, that believe in you,” she said in her acceptance speech.
