THE CLIENT
The country’s largest brick-and-mortar cell phone and wireless retailer needed to maintain its edge over competitors like Best Buy and Amazon. Ideally, in addition to retaining its 8% market share across all wireless brands, the client hoped to see a boost in their own same-store-sales performance numbers.
THE REQUEST
As of 2010, T-ROC had been the exclusive 3PL provider for wireless devices, plans, and accessories sold through Walmart. One of the key reasons T-ROC has been able to maintain and expand this relationship for more than a decade is because of our diligence to excellence in employment screening, training, performance measuring, and sales innovation.
Additionally, T-ROC has always implemented a zero-tolerance policy for fraud, a constant challenge in the wireless market. Employees create fake contract sign ups to temporarily boost numbers or meet sales quotas, only to have those contracts cancel for lack of activation or proper billing afterwards, thus negating actual sales figures. T ROC pre-screens applicants and immediately dismisses anyone suspected of fraudulent activations.

T-ROC s team was able to amplify brand and product awareness through ambitious KPIs that included monthly targets for number of leadership meetings, sales incentives created, ride-a-longs and training sessions. Two year into the program, T-ROC has delivered increased brand awareness, boosted sales and met the clients sales goals month after month.
The program has evolved into a brand and sales powerhouse that includes 5,000 corporate and wireless retail stores, including Verizon, Metro by T-Mobile, T-Mobile and Cox. T-ROC's TCL 15-member campaign team includes an Operations Manager and Senior Regional Market Manager, plus Regional Market Managers and Market Brand Managers.
T-ROC’s active headcount of 1000 employees includes Frontline
salespeople, Area Managers, Regional Directors, Division Directors,
and Support staff.
