THE CLIENT

In 2020, Trend Micro, A Global Cyber Security Firm needed support in growing their presence within retail partner Best Buy. They are a partner in the Best Buy exclusive product S2 Security Program, Which required staffing and training in key markets.

THE REQUEST

Trend Micro had 3 objectives.

1. Transition representatives to T-ROC from previous 3PL .

Trend Micro valued the tenure of their representatives and wanted them to make the move to T-ROC as part of the transition.

2. Hire quality representation in open markets.

Markets that needed coverage had stayed understaffed for multiple months prior to T-ROC s involvement.

3. Grow market share.

Trend Micros Market share fluctuated in covered markets between 20-25%.

Their goal was to drive market share to 50% with increased brand awareness and quality representation in store.

Over the course of the first two years with T-ROC, Trend Micro were able to hit 50% Market share consistently because of our ability to stay agile. As the market changed, our objectives changed and we shifted to growing units for the segment while maintaining Market Share growth.

High Volume, High Engagement stores became priority targets.
Hiring Quality Reps
People who were able to build relationships quickly in store and drive sales was the standard of excellence. No markets were left open with little or no coverage.
