Assembly Technicians

Putting It All Together For One of the Nation's Largest Retailers

How a pilot Assembly Program grew into a well-oiled revenue machine.

When one of the nation’s largest retailers needed a better way to build bikes, we quickly said, “No problem. Leave it to us.”  This was our first crack at an assembly program, but we knew it would succeed. After all, when you have decades of best practices in place and entrepreneurial leaders driving performance, anything is possible.

So, we set about training Assembly Techs, putting clear processes in place, and building bikes in 64 stores. Here’s what happened:

2 years later, we rolled out Assembly Programs into 489 locations.
By year 3, we were at
500+ stores…
and counting.
Today, we average between
26,000 and 36,000 units each week.
Assembling bikes has led to grills, furniture, fitness gear, and more.
The program which begain with 30 techs, now boasts a nationwide team of approximately
250 highly-trained Assembly Technicians.

We delivered way past performance expectations and are still doing it in stores coast to coast: Alabama, California, Colorado, Washington DC, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Massachusetts, Maryland, Maine, Missouri, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Virginia, Vermont, and West Virginia.

When it comes to building ROI, we know how to put all the pieces together.
