The COVID-19 crisis is unlike any our nation has ever experienced. Lives are being lost. Families find themselves sheltering in place. The economy is paralyzed as businesses large and small close their doors for the foreseeable future.
However, if there is one bright spot in all of this, it’s watching those brave souls battling this crisis on the front lines and marveling at their displays of humanity, courage and commitment. Doctors, nurses, first responders and emergency services personnel are working tirelessly under the most strenuous circumstances to save lives and keep us all safe.
As proud member of the retail industry, it has been a particular honor to all of us at The Revenue Optimization Companies (T-ROC) to support our brothers and sisters on the front lines. They are the grocery stores, pharmacies, shipping and delivery companies, big-box retailers, and essential services businesses who are going above and beyond to serve their communities.

These days aren’t about moving more product or squeezing greater margins. America’s retailers have stepped up their games for much bigger reasons – to make sure families are fed; to make sure people get the medicine they need; to deliver food and services to those who can’t get them on their own; to keep their communities whole during a time of unprecedented demand and uncertainty.
None of us will see the overnight teams sanitizing shelves and unloading trucks to keep essential stores safe and stocked. But every night those jobs get done. We probably don’t know the person behind the counter, but we do know he or she likely left a family a home to make sure the rest of us have what we need.
The heroes on the front lines of retail are working around the clock, and that’s no longer a figure of speech, it’s a sobering reality during this crisis.
